This tool is used for pre-roughing of the cartridge chamber.
The tool has a cylindrical shank and a square for use with a T-handle. The guide is interchangeable and in the standard version made of brass.
The pre-rougher has large flutes for fast working.
The high-speed profile gives short chips and less cutting force.

Finisher Reamer for Shotgun Chambers
This tool is used to cut the chamber for a shotgun cartridge, but without rim.
The tool has a cylindrical shank and a square for use with a T-handle.
The guide is interchangeable and in the standard version made of brass.
The diameter dimensions of the standard finisher are 0,07mm over CIP minimum. So regrinding is possible.
Before using a finisher, it is recommended to use a rougher.
When beginning to cut a pre-roughed chamber, you must work very carefully, to avoid the reamer to “hook in”.
If minimum chambers are needed, use a minimum reamer.
